Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes, Royal Derby Hospital

As a clinical champion, Suma wants to transform outpatient services across hospital and community settings using technology and internet based solutions to bring diabetes care to the digital era. Suma hopes to introduce the clever use of technology to deliver routine care and structured education tailored to the demands of the patient at a place of their convenience. She also hopes to continue developing inpatient diabetes care in Derby and is aspiring to support similar changes in Burton.

Background
