Take part in the new NaDIA Quality Improvement Collaborative
The National Diabetes Inpatient Audit (NaDIA) is offering 20 hospitals the opportunity to take part in the NaDIA Quality Improvement Collaborative (QIC).
We are seeking specialist services who would like to set local aims to further improve inpatient diabetes care, and to work together with other providers to develop skills and share learning. The NaDIA has consistently identified appreciable rates of severe hypoglycaemia and DKA/HHS and these two key areas will be the specific focus of the NaDIA QIC.
Participating hospitals will be expected to:
• Establish a small team of people to undertake the project for the hospital
• Prioritise an area for improvement
• Attend a workshop in January 2018
• Be part of facilitated webinars/teleconferences and coaching
• Share learning and improvements (December 2018)
How to join the collaborative
Please download and complete an application form, which includes further information, and return it to Sophie Colling at email@example.com before Tuesday, 14 November 2017 COB.
Note: The NaDIA QIC will recruit a different group of hospitals from the parallel, but distinct, RCP sponsored Diabetes Inpatient QI Hub collaborative.
