Course requirements

This module is designed for health care professionals who care for people with metabolic syndrome and diabetes.

Aims

This module will enable you to understand the link between metabolic syndrome, diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD), and to critically evaluate your role in preventing and treating these conditions. It will equip you with the advanced practical skills and expertise to confidently assess and manage your patients with, or at risk of diabetes, and to use evidence effectively to underpin your decision making.
