Run towards a fitter you, at your pace
Pull on your trainers and run a marathon, across the 31 days of October, to find a fitter you and to support people affected by diabetes.
Run26 is your chance to conquer the marathon distance, no matter your running experience. The challenge is to run the 26.2 miles, over the 31 days of October, in your local area. So take it on to run towards a healthier future for you, and a better future for people with diabetes.

- No minimum sponsorship requirement; although we would suggest a target of £260 - £10 for each mile
- You must be aged 18 or over to register and receive an online Tracker page. Children are welcome to join in with a parent or guardian but can’t formally register.
We'll support you all the way to the finish line
This challenge isn't easy, but we're absolutely sure that you can do it. Not only do we know you can do it, but we're sure that you'll enjoy how it makes you feel. And we're going to support you all the through the 26.2 miles. So before you take on your marathon, you’ll receive a welcome pack through the post. It will include advice on what to prepare before starting your challenge, fundraising tips, a record card to log your miles and a sponsorship form. We'll also be providing plenty of supportive, and interesting, running content along the way.
We'll create a Run26 Tracker page for you
You will also get your very own Run26 Tracker, an online page where you can log your distance and keep a running total, collect virtual badges, keep track of your fundraising and share your progress with everyone on your social media.
How to count your miles
Keeping on top of your miles using a smartphone is by far the easiest way to track your activity. If you need help finding the best tracker app for you, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Then, just keep a log of your miles on your Run26 record card or Tracker website.
