2020-2022 Quality Improvement Collaboratives
These QICs had for aims to:
• help people with type 1 diabetes keep their blood glucose levels within target
• reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in people with type 2 diabetes.
A summary report for the type 1 and type 2 diabetes QICs was published in October 2002. There's also a report on the work conducted to enhance the use of National Diabetes Audit data by clinical networks.
2017- 2020 QICs
These QICs focused on 4 areas: care for inpatients, for pregnancy and pre-conception, foot care and transition from young people to adult diabetes services.
