a little flour, for rolling
2 tbsp semi-skimmed milk
1 tbsp semolina
2 cooking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
100g blackberries
1 tbsp demerara sugar

Method

Recipe tips
  • If you like a juicer and softer pie, cook the apple and blackberries for 3–4 mins in a pan with 1 tbsp water and spread over the pastry.
  • You could also use pears, apricots, peaches, nectarines or cherries.
