We know that living with diabetes can be challenging and that you may have lots of questions during this period of uncertainty.

Since lockdown began in March, many routine diabetes appointments have been cancelled or postponed. This can be worrying if you have questions about managing your diabetes and don't know who to ask.

Our Diabetes Online Events are held via Zoom and give you the opportunity to hear from healthcare experts and ask any questions you may have.

During this period of social distancing and isolation, it’s very important that we look after both our physical and mental health as best we can.

We are introducing mindfulness and yoga via online video link this month.

These twice-weekly sessions will be run by Zen yoga and mindfulness teacher Donna Booth of Vitality Retreat, based in the far north of Scotland.

We are delighted to reveal that there are 57 amazing volunteers and groups nominated for Diabetes Scotland Inspire Awards 2020.

Congratulations and thank you to all of our nominees. Volunteers are at the heart of what we do and we simply could not continue our work without your dedication and support.

The nominations are now with an external panel of judges for consideration. We do not yet know when we will announce the winners, but we still hope to have an Inspire Awards ceremony this year.
