Fight for Flash

Our local support groups adopted research projects with donations totaling over £80,000
What you've helped us achieve this year:
18,927 of you have taken 27,150 actions to support our campaigns like Flash and Food Upfront
We recruited 12 new members of the Council of People Living with Diabetes, helping us form new ideas, services and the top priorities for people living with diabetes
We had 100 volunteers at London Bridges Challenge, in which more than 4,000 people walked ten miles raising £400,000
We launched Volunteer Spotlight to recognise a different volunteer or local group each month
Community Champions in Bolton have held 23 events, and in Slough 25 events to engage BAME communities and promote healthier lifestyle changes
We've recruited 15 volunteers to our Clinical Studies research groups
Supported thousands of people across the UK through our 365 local support groups
Delivered Know Your Risk events to over 1,200 people through community events (43% at moderate or high risk)
